I've got a great need for some Lexington, NC-style barbecue.

No whole shoulder here, but I've got a nice pork butt destined for the 26er on Saturday.

Y'all have a great weekend!

Last night was trip tip
Tonight was burgers from a neighbor’s cow.
Tomorrow is pizza and making up some extra crusts for the freezer.
Sunday is chicken wings I think.

Happy weekend!

Early Happy Birthday, Charles!

I just made enough beef cheek gorditas to last a couple of days.
One deer is hanging and I'll head out tomorrow for another.

Have a great weekend Phu and Brethren!

Been eating one of those Phancy SRPh hams all week (holy Phark those are good!), so I'm thinking poultry now. Gonna snag a couple chix, give one the Carolina Treet treatment, and not sure what I'm gonna do with the other one yet.

Happy weekend to Phu and crew and all y'all Pharkers!

We've been seeing rain basically every day for the past month, with a few clear days here and there. Today and yesterday I took the opportunity to go cook something outside: hanging tomahawks on Friday, and direct heat beef short ribs on Saturday
