Default Vacusealed carne asada still good?

I had a vacusealed marinated carne asada from Costco in the garage fridge and just realized the use by date was Oct 22. I probably bought it in June or July and the use date is always a few months out. Now I’m 4 weeks past it. Think it’s ok to grill up tonight? I would think so since it’s always been refrigerated, it’s marinated, and the initial date allowed for a few months. But I could be wrong!

Thanks!

Edit: It merely been refrigerated. It has not been frozen.

That' stuff will be fine 6 months from now if it's been vacuum sealed and sitting in your deep freeze

That’s my concern. It’s been in the fridge, not the freezer.

Can usually tell by the smell. If marinated might mask. If it was me, I'd toss. Could cook well done to kill the bacteria but then your eating a shoe

I'm changing my answer, I did not realize it was not frozen. Toss it.

Officially in the trash. Was hoping I could salvage it. Just forgot it was in there. Thanks all!
