Red face Live cook: reverse seared lamb in the rain

I'm still trying the reverse sear method on many different meats (tritip, pork tenderloin, various steaks) and today I'm trying it on a rack of lamb.
I like my lamb rare just shy of med-rare.
I'm thinking I'll take it to 110, rest and crank up the heat to sear.
Added challenge will be the rain.
Also roasting a couple of bulbs of garlic to shmear on top.

Sooooooo glad I didn't put my meat on.
Suddenly opened up and rained hell. Just trying to keep a fire going until it stops. If it takes too long I'll just start over.

Rain delay....
Not that I'm ever having kids but I'd tell em to be meteorologists.

Well done. We had lamb tonight too, but since it was raining I just decided to pan sear them inside.

But..I DID get a big bag of Mesquite chunks at Rural King tonight. Made the rounds of a couple farm markets for the weeks produce, then chunks. The sweet corn tonight was fantastic, and local Yukon Golds mashed. Georgia peaches for dessert. I love summer.
