Default Going price for pulled pork by the pound?

Our church is doing a youth fundraiser and we're selling pulled pork sandwich plates. However, the last few times we've done this we've had a lot of people want to buy the meat by the pound and not get a plate. We're wanting to do that this time around but aren't sure what to charge per pound. Any suggestions? I know it will depend on the area, we're in the northwest Louisiana area. Thanks in advance for the help.

Mission BBQ charges about $17/pound for pulled pork on their catering menu. That is in Maryland, so a little higher than other places. I seem to recall $14-15/pound in Virginia and North Carolina. They also throw in sauce.

The going rate in my town from a caterer with a competition BBQ trailer is $7 for a half-pound or $13 for one-pound.

A local small town family pwned bbq restruant charges $14/lb. For what you're doing, I would say anywhere between $12 and $15 per lb.

Yeah, $15 is what we usually charge, or a whole butt for $60
