Default finer things in life

Just a little history, I joined this site with little to go on both monetarily and i had no knowledge of q. I remember thinking about the $25 or something I needed to join and wondering if this was going to be a good investment! lol. Early on I remember Phil teaching me how to cook a pork butt, step by step as I was so nervous. This was in the fall of 2009. The year previously, I had taken my tax return and split the cost of a tractor load of firewoodbricks with another guy. I believed in this product and wanted to make a difference with this technology. All the things about the environment that we care about had me thinking about how it could be used for back yard bbq before I knew anything about cooking bbq! So, I took a chance with the little bit of money I had. Sold my half of the tractor load then bought the other guys half from him and sold that. Then I used the little profit to buy another tractor load and so on and so on. Eventually, one of our suppliers called me. He had 13 pallets of hickory and 4 pallets of cherry and wanted to know if I wanted it. It makes me smile just remembering that now.
That wood is long gone and so is the naive feelings about what it takes to take a new product to market. The point of this is that after the 12 or so many years of marketing mojobricks®, it has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I never imagined how much there was to learn about what we do and how we do it! The finer things in life are out there - even if it appears the world is falling apart. Keep investing in what you believe in.
