Does anyone have a sunterra Santa Maria grill? If so how do you like it? I’m looking at possibly buying one. I have a small orchard so have all the wood I can burn. I have two gassers, but they are just that gassers very little flavor. Also have (hate to say) three stick burners, love the end product, but take a lot of time. Thinking of getting this grill, with griddle. Thanks for any advice in advance.
P.S. what do you think of their pizza oven?

If you haven't looked at them I'd also suggest checking out AZ BBQ Outfitters as you consider options for a Santa Maria. Rectec also just came out with one that actually uses a fan to provide oxygen to the fire -- not sure if that's good or bad.

I was considering building a stone/brick grill with an Argentinian/Santa Maria style drop in but this might be a better way to go. I'd be 100% sold if it had V shaped grates, even as an option.

Back to the OP's original question, I have been scared away from Sunterra due to the negative reviews here on the Brethren. AZ BBQ grills look amazing if a bit spendy. I was leaning towards the Argentinian campfire grill from Englebrecht Grills.
