What category are you competing in? If you have never been to Memphis in May you should read the To Sauced to Pork web site. They have a lot of good information there. http://www.toosaucedtopork.com Also, if you are in Chicago you should talk to Willie Wagner at Honky Tonk BBQ. He has competed in shoulder several times and has made finals at least once that I know of. http://honkytonkbbqchicago.com/
Good luck! Hope to meet you there in person.

Billcftc: Lots of good information on this thread http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...&highlight=mim . We are always eager to help new teams to MIM. Be sure to come by and introduce yourself. Please come by during the BBQ Brethren mixer on Thursday afternoon to meet all the people you talk to on this forum. If you need equipment or help setting up just come by and ask. We are booth R-O18 in the rib section on the riverside of the park on the Beale Street end. There is a map on the above thread.
