Default Powder Coating

I have just started building a offset reverse flow smoker out of and old 80 gallon air compressor tank. No progress or pics at this point, but I do have 3 questions. 1. Will exterior powder coating be able to hold up to the heat? I'm just talking about powder coating the cylinder at this point. 2. Can the firebox also be powder coated? Or 3. Should I just have the whole thing sandblasted and paint it with hi heat paint

Most powder coat places will do a high heat coat if you tell them to.
I've had headers and motorcycle engines powder coated in the past.
