Cleaning out my dad's old shop today (he died in 2007) I pulled out an old "portable" griddle he had made. My parents owned a couple of Dairy Queen restaurants, they were changing the griddle in one (to go bigger) and my dad took the old one, re fitted for propane, and mounted it on a cart. I fired it up today, had to re-tighten a couple if leaky fittings, but once I did that it works. I think I'll have to clean this one up and restore it. It weighs a ton, that griddle top is thick. The handle that comes out the left side extends like that for rolling it around, but it pushes back in for storage. It's got 3 big H burners. The grease drain drains into a pull out metal "Drawer" for getting rid of grease

Very cool that you can restore and use something your dad worked on. Be sure to share your journey with it.
