Default Meat sauce for spaghetti

I'm fixing spaghetti with meat sauce for 125 adults and I'm curious as to how much meat to cook in the sauce?

I was thinking of cooking 25 pounds of ground beef = 1/5 pound of meat per serving. What do you think???

Thanks!

Default Meat sauce for spaghetti

Sounds about right. Personally, I prefer Italian sausage to beef. A mixture of the two might be good.

I agree with Luke...sweet Italian sausage. I offer sausage ,peppers and onions on the side usually if they request meat sauce . Sometimes they go for it for a few extra bucks, and it looks better on the buffet table.
