What the hell is this?
Cutting into my leg of lamb and this greenish looking paste comes oozing out of it? Any idea what it is?

It's a reason to take the whole thing back to the store for an exchange.

My guess.A male. A male in love. Used to see something similar when butchering venison. May or not be it. Right location though. We always tried to avoid glands.

Makes me glad I chose to bone out the one I'm cooking today. Otherwise, I'd be wondering all through the cook...

It didn’t smell but I didn’t try to smell it. I called Costco and they said I didn’t need to bring it back, pictures would be fine. From what I can tell, it’s some type of cyst. That being said, I don’t know if I can ever eat guacamole again.
