Hello All,
I grew up on a small ranch in western Canada. Even though I had ready access to beef, I never really learned how to cook it.
Recently a friend of mine, who is big into Q, had me over for some brisket and burnt ends. One bite, and I immediately decided I'm going to learn how to BBQ!
I found this forum searching for UDS ideas. So, hi, and please forgive my ignorant questions.

:-D

Welcome aboard! Great resources here, and great people. Don’t worry about questions — everybody was new at this at one point. Use the Google search tool to get an idea of what’s been discussed to death (or, even better, consider supporting the site with a subscription, which has the nice side effect of opening up more advanced search tools). I’m fairly new here myself, though not new to BBQ, and it’s a great place to gather knowledge and find new friends.

Welcome! You've come to the right place.

George is right. This place is a treasure trove of information and ideas... and plenty of shenanigans, as well.

Welocme to the asylum!

Take a look around and if you have questions please feel free to contact the moderator team or our senior members. Their names are color coded so you can recognized them.

Also, each section of the forum has a description that you can use to figure out where to post.

Finally, please review our rules! They are pretty straight forward, but looking at them up front may help to eliminate problems later :-D

Oh! Don't forget to add your name to the Brethren Map, located at the top of this Cattle Call forum.

Most important, have fun and join in our conversations and share and learn!

Welcome from SC. It's good to have you on this great site. There are many fine folks here who are always eager to help with recipes, ideas and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading.

Good luck and good cooking.

Welcome! Enjoy the great people and the information and stories they have. This is truly a great place to be.

Welcome to the forum from sunny SE Arizona.

Welcome my brethren from the North. You will find a lot of information here, ideas and some things that we just can't explain (and you know who you are). Ask anything, we are here for each other. Enjoy yourself and post pics of that UDS when you build it.
