A couple of weekends ago my subdivision had a rib cook off. There were four of us competing and everyone in the subdivision was allowed to vote for the best tasting ribs. I cooked mine on my new MAK 1 and took home the first prize.

Not much to brag about by I was happy to be honored by my neighbors.

Congrats Bob!

How do MAK ribs compare to PBC ribs for you?

I am not sure there is too much difference. I really need to do a side by side to compare the two. Having some friends over Monday, perhaps I should do one rack on each!

I knew it!!!! :laugh::pound::laugh:

Don't poke the Bear, Bob. :laugh:

Having my thread moved to the Competition BBQ section is a high honor indeed! I must say I do not feel worthy of being placed amongst my fellow Brethren who compete in true competitions against real pros. Mine was a simple neighborhood BBQ contest and there were only 3 other competitors besides myself.

I must say though, that perhaps this is the spark I need to start participating in some of the comps in my area. I know I have lots to learn, but if you don't take a chance you'll never know how you may do.

That’s the best blue ribbon around!

WAIT!!!!

This got moved to the comp section???

I ain’t even worthy of postin’ in herrrrr....
