Wanted some wings for the NFL playoff games on Sunday and I hadn't cooked any chicken on the new Weekender yet so on they went at 275 with a chunk of apple wood for smoke:

flipped midway in the cook and raised the temp to about 325 for better crisping and was pretty happy with the way they looked (and tasted :grin:) at the finish:

Yes, crispy but not as crispy as fried skin. We were happy with it. :grin:

Edit: I should mention my rub had a little baking powder added in as well which also seems to help with crisping.
