Anyone catch the pilot of Smokelandia last night?
It was nice to see some coverage of a classic SE Texas joint, and it was pretty entertaining overall. Using pork fat to shine his boots was a nice touch.
I hope it gets picked up for a full run of episodes, what do y'all think?
 
I watched the show last night, and I thought it was pretty good. I hope that there will be more episodes to follow.
 
Cooking Channel isn't showing it in last nights line up from what I can tell. I'd like to catch a replay if possible. I'll keep my eyes on this thread in the even someone locates another viewing opportunity.
 
I saw it and it was ok, nothing special. It very easily could’ve been BB&Q, MFF, or DD&D but with a more serious host. I didn’t notice anything groundbreaking but I do intend to keep watching, I mean hey, it’s bbq.
 
I record man fire food, to my surprise, when I started the program, the credits for smoklandia were scrolling on the screen. Did a search on dish network, but don't see any replays.
 
The replay is on the Cooking Channel on Saturday July 14th,3;30 ET/2:30 CT
