I'll doing a boil test tomorrow to see if it is off and maybe get an inexpensive replacement if needed. In cold weather if you had like 6 butts in there I'd guess you'd need a while to get all that cold meat up to where it would maintain above 250. But as of now that is just speculation.

But it has been holding temp fine cranked at "high".

Wrapped after 2hrs with some more rub, agave and the land o lakes squeeze which is pretty solid and made with real butter vs the parkay for those that get triggered by such

I have used the exact same setup to indulge in the same whiskey.

So if anyone remember the KFC Double Down where people lost their minds because they thought no bun and just 2 fried chicken breasts were a gluttonous abomination.....vs just you know all the regular people eating 2 (or more) separate friend chicken sandwiches or burgers in on serving........that is where the inspiration for this came to be

So the McRib Quadruple Down is two deep friend McRibs (inspiration from last year) that sandwiches 2 regular non-fried McRibs heated in the microwave.....and in between that the standard "fall off the bone garbage ribs" anyone can cook and pull the bones out of .

Kept all the pickles and onions and added a few additional pickles.

Lol, I do a smidge of running .

It was good. I mean the baby back meat kind of threw off the deliciousness of the real McRibs, but was tasty .

Gonna do some sausage on it today and something else as we'll swing to costco this morning.
