Naked Ribs: Down and Dirty
Most of y’all know I’m not a big fan of sauce on BBQ.
This is my version of naked ribs, add a glaze and these are the same ribs that won back to back rib cook-offs this last summer. No glaze on these though. No foil, no rub and no sauce. Back to the basics. These are not pretty competition Ribs, these ribs are all about being delicious. Crispy bark. Salty pig parts. Simply seasoned with Q-Salt and smoked with cherry wood.

Those look fantastic...
It's awesome (in the proper sense of the word) just what you taste and enjoy when you go back to the basics.

I used my COS, an older brinkmann horizontal offset, wood burning smoker. Mix of briquettes and cherry wood splits. I normally use my Kettle for ribs, but sometimes I like to crank up the old stickburner.
