This a copycat recipe that I wrote down in a steno book some years ago. I'm old school and only recently started bookmarking. It was worthy enough to be written though.
3lbs of ground beef boiled in 1.5 quarts water for 30mins. After 30mins I added the onions, crushed tomatoes, chili seasoning dump, and garlic,Worcestershire Sauce, and cider vinegar. Simmer on low for 3 hrs (yep, 3hrs). When finished let the chili cool and refrigerate overnight (this allows the intricate flavors to fuse). Next day gently scoop off the fat layer with a spoon or spatula. Reheat the chili mixture while you prepare the noodles. I like 4 way. Noodles, chili sauce, onions, and cheese. Don't forget the hot sauce and oyster crackers and thanks for looking.
I will gladly post the recipe if anyone wants it

I have such access to Cincy chili that I have ever tried to make it. It would be a good idea though, and I could freeze a bunch of it.

A good project, so yes please!

I use 3 pounds of beef and a little extra water because I like it extra meaty but this is the recipe.

1 quart cold water
2 lb ground beef
2 cups crushed tomatoes
2 medium yellow onions, diced.
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground cumin
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1.5 tsp salt

Boil the beef for 30-40 mins until it's in fine pieces (do not drain). Add the remaining ingredients. Simmer on low for 3hrs stirring occasionally. The recipe stated "Add water as needed" so you have to determine that. I may have added 4-5 cups throughout the cook. Remember to let cool overnight and skim the fat. It's good stuff. Good luck
