I've come up with the whacky idea of trying to smoke some turkey breasts and hams in cloth bags. I've ordered some ham stockings from LEM and working on my setup inside my Assassin GF.

Has anyone else done this and have any tips or tricks to share?

Thanks in advance!

Yes I've used several styles on loins, shoulders and hams. The best tip is to visualize how the product is going into the bag.... not put them on until your brining or curing is complete, and take them off shortly after your smoking is complete. This is a picnic ham and I wanted the wide end to go in the bag first so it would look more ham-like.

These are the various types I have. The large mesh are #28 socks. The fine mesh are pre-cut in 30" lengths and are for leg hams or large shoulder hams.
