Default Bacon Spam Musubi

Today is National Bacon Lovers Day

Gotta pay a little respect to that wonderful pork product we all love! YES, I went there

Slice it up

Fry it up

Make a teriyaki sauce with sugar

Throw it in the pan to thicken up

I got lazy and used leftover rice from last night, it didn't work well because it was too dry so I coated it with hot sauce and 1 beaten egg as a binder then put it in the microwave to set

BAM! Spicy rice log ready for teriyaki sauce and Furikake

Add a succulent plank, a little more sauce and wrap

Dear Lord, Thank You for the pork. Amen

Yes I would but next time I'll add more eggs. You can't taste the egg with some much rice and hot sauce.

I can hear the applause in Hawaii all the way from here. They would be proud! I would take some of that.
