Beautiful work of ART, the SF boys really know how to build a smoker. I am always impressed with their pride of workmanship... Congratulations...

I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to go 3/8" or 1/2" firebox. Haven't found anyone who went with that extra bulk.

The only real reason to go thicker would be if you're afraid that the 1/4" is going to wear out/rust out. It will not do you any favors on fuel consumption. I have had insulated boxes on both of my shirleys and I would never go without it. Its super nice, and its 2 layers of 1/4" steel... Its never wearing out!

Great looking smoker. Congratulations. That thing is a work of art and if I ever decide to get a stick burner, I will seriously consider SF.

I like the stainless backsplash and did you spec out the cool wheels or is Paul changing his standard?
