Modified Weber 22 performer to fit 26.75.

I've never seen it done but it should be fairly easy without modding.
The bottom of the 26.75 has to be 22" somewhere along the bowl.

Yeah, someone over at WKC did it. If you look at the Performer cart, the front and back are spaced apart by the kettle, the table and the lower plastic connecting pieces. You'd need to either add about 2" of spacers to those lower pieces or replace with something else. Then, you'd need to source a larger table, either wood or even some nice stone. Lastly, you could use a cutting wheel to take the brackets off the 22" bowl and figure out a way to affix them to the 26. That or fashion some other kind of bracket to hold the bowl in place.
