Default Windy Saturday BBQ

I was up early but had some trouble with the LPG torch. I eventually got it started, the tank was topped off but I’m not sure if that was causing the issue.

Anyway, I put the brisket on at about 6:15 am with the mini boston butt and spare ribs to follow in a few hours. Mac & Cheese, BBQ Beans, and potato salad will be the side dishes this evening.

Looks GREAT!!! Windy in western PA also (at least it's not raining ). I just fired up my stick burner for it's fist cook. 4 butts and a packer, and a couple of fatties for snacks...

Good luck with your first cook on your new pit. Feel free to share some pictures of your rig / cook.

The finished product. The brisket came out excellent, butcher paper wrapped 8 hours in to an 11 hour smoke. IMO my best brisket yet.
