Default Carnitas is my comfort food. (pics)

So there is a Comfort Food Throwdown going on right now. https://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/s...d.php?t=276706 And that got me thinking that I needed to make some more carnitas in the Dutch Oven and let it slow cook while doing yard work.

Added the spices and let it soak in while getting the veggies cut up and the fire going.

Served up with some corn tortillas and some scratch made Spanish rice.

Thanks for the comments folks! It is something we like to have every couple of months but is often done in the crock pot. I have a lot more fun when I can do it in the D.O. outside. It was dinner again tonight and will probably kill it off at lunch tomorrow.
