Default Beer Bread-A Horror Story......🍻😢

.....in progress. Bride is attempting Shiner Bock beer bread. One of first ingredients is 1.5 cups flat Shiner Beer. Ironically one bottle is 1.5 cups. It’s heartbreaking to know a Shiner was selected and was left out to assume room temp like a CSI cadaver, then poured out to die a Flat death until it’s needed (kneaded ) Nobody warned me.

This is tough.

Could be worse. Guinness is used in many recipes, that's really hard for me.

Thanks Ed!
I don't use flat beer. Don't use yeast either. The point of regular beer is to make the dough rise, no yeast needed.

So we’re off and running. Kraut Salad- Cheater pastrami will be steaming shortly -Brides Bread is kneading. Jason’s Deli And McAlisters have nothing to worry about. But the house aroma is just right on a cold windy day.

Cheater Pastrami is steaming. Bread is about to be placed in oven. Kraut Salad is chilling in fridge. Beer is cold. Winds howling cold AF outside.

Amen
