had a friend in from out of town, so I cooked up a pot of chili to go with the homebrew he was there to sample.
Fired up the WGA with some RO briqs and a cherry split
Seasoned up a chuckie with S&P and some paprika, and threw it on there
meanwhile, got some dried chiles in some boiling water for a bath
blended them up
Got the rest of the players chopped up and going in the pot with some bacon grease
pulled the chuckie off after about 3 hours, and it looked a little like this (somehow missed a shot of the whole thing )
cubed that up, and into the DO for a nice long slow simmer until it looked like this:
beverage of choice, hefe weizen:
was some good chili, and a nice time spent with a good friend :thumb:
