I want to see if taking the fat dripping in the fire out of play will extend the burn time. Besides, I am already using every internal part of my wsm in my uds anyway, so I might as well add the heat sink.

Any mod that keeps fat from dripping on the fire is a step in the wrong direction IMO. I take it you have a small drum if the WSM stuff fits, 30gal? Post your results. Kurt

I am going to do a couple of chickens to see how the uds acts with heat sink in the middle. I will post up the results.
