Most of y’all know I’m not a big fan of sauce on BBQ.

This is my version of naked ribs, add a glaze and these are the same ribs that won back to back rib cook-offs this last summer.

No glaze on these though. No foil, no rub and no sauce.

Back to the basics.

These are not pretty competition Ribs, these ribs are all about being delicious.

Crispy bark.
Salty pig parts.

Simply seasoned with Q-Salt and smoked with cherry wood.

Those look fantastic...

It's awesome (in the proper sense of the word) just what you taste and enjoy when you go back to the basics.

Those look awesome John! My father in law does some Polish style and they are nekkid like this and are fabulous. I need to do this!

So that’s how you do it! I’m going to follow your lead on my next rib-a rama.....
Yum:clap:

Great looking ribs. I have used the Q Salt on beef and lamb, but not ribs. YET. Thanks for sharing.

I do love naked ribs.
Not a huge fan of sauce. If I want it, I want to add it. While I do appreciate a good dry rub, keep it simple. I want to taste meat and the smoking method and determine for my own pallet if the flavor needs enhancement.
