C'mon lets see em I know we have some newbs and I know we've added new smokers to our existing line-ups. Put them in this link.

You've got check the box at the bottom of the reply box that's says, " I am aware that this thread is rather old but I still want to make a reply.

I joined this site near the day that thread started after buying my Brinkmann Trailmaster smoker. So I was excited to share my smoker and see what everyone else cooks with.

Just as excited now because It has been a long journey thus far and I have upgraded a bit! I am officially addicted to this hobby. I'm making great Q getting great compliments I know its not the best in the world but I've got things figured out.

Or I could find a pic with more grease stains...(badges of honor)

It will not let you post to the old thread anymore .

Sure it will. Evil-g even told you how to do it in his post :-D

Only the first person to post in that thread has to do this.

I posted there on the original thread, but will post my reply here too for S&G's.

Here's the progression of my "Smokers" ....

1 -Bought the little Mini BGE for a steal (brand new). Cooks great but way too small.

2 -Inherited my late grandfathers Egg from my uncle. It's from the late 1970's / early 80's. I remember running around playing and not being much taller than it was. I refurbished it....Cooks great but has some cracks since it's clay and not ceramic. I want to keep it as is and not use it much since it belonged to my Grandfather, which is why I bout the below cookers / smokers.

3 - Bought this Old Country Wrangler off CL for $300.00. Great shape. Broke my wrist unloading it with a friend though (he dropped his side and it fell backwards. I went with it. Ugh.) Now it's cost me WAY more in lost income. Oh well.

4 - Just bought this used 2013 Yoder YS480 for a great deal. Previous owner gave me 40 lbs. of pellets, and Maverick Redi Check w/remote. Awesome cooker but I think the smoke level will not be as much as I like. Gotta order a smoke tube.

5 - LSG-IVC (Large w/cart) on Order. May have to give this up though due to my broken wrist injury. It's costing me almost $6K in lost income over 10 weeks of being on light duty. Haven't decided yet. Tough decision.
