I finally found pics from our first EVER grilling and BBQ event ...
Lowell, MA 2003....
And, if I remember right, we didn't even use salt or pepper on those grilling categories, nevermind a marinade or anything! CLASSIC!

how's yer crispy chicken?

We were (and still are) so proud of that rib trophy!
