Gonna be a good day... Finally firing up the Shirley again

Finally under 90 on the weekend. Rolled the Shirley out, started a fire and prepped some St Louis ribs. Miss the smell of post oak in the morning.

That and it's been a couple too many months since I fired up the Shirley. The charcoal cookers get a work out most of the summer.

Great color on those ribs. Yea, when it is 95* + out, it gets a little too hot to deal with stick burners. Or much else for that matter.

I like to suffer. Makes everything taste better to me, if I don't collapse that is lol.

I do the same if I'm cooking for others but just me and the wife and I'm not gonna sweat like I'm running a marathon. :heh:
