My offset pitbuild (franklin/millscale mashup)

Nice build,,,,nice shop
Handy havin’ a fork truck and an overhead crane available,,,,
I see that you have a Fronius mig !
How do you like ?

That is my friends shop, so cant answer on have the Fronius works else than that the welds look good =)

Thats some real talent there, you should be very proud .

Thanks i guess
I just did the design and dxf-drawings and my friend who owns and weldingshop did all the hard and dirty work. And the lasercutter got into work aswell =)

I would be more than proud to have that in my yard. I am sure you must still be beaming over it. Looks like someone could have a nice side business

Started this projekt in beginning of March with some sketches and messurements. Both me and my friend who built it have babies in the house so wife not that happy =) Its been a long wait and to finally do the seasoning and the first cook was awsome! Still have to pinch my arm sometimes to realise its actulle finnished =)

Ribs on friday and today pulled pork. The ribs were amazing, juicy and nice flavour. Could have gone maybe 30 minutes more wrapped.

Pulled pork, the best bark I ever created, also my first ever on an offset

Well that is a potential new business prospect right there. Lovely build between yourself and your friend.

Haha yes maybe soo =) But we made six of them (all sold to people at my work) this time and I dont think my friend wants to see another smoker for some time

But I have the DXF-files for all parts (for lasercutting) and a 3-d and 2-d drawing on the entire smoker (except for grates) if anyone is interested, can even put a custom name on the firedoor.

(does anyone know how i rotate the files after atteched them? they are all in the right way on my phone.

That's purdy. I'm curious why you painted it instead of leaving it natural - being stainless.

And also, if you have good, complete DXF drawings, by all means, offer them for sale on Pintrest, Etsy, OfferUp and others.

This design looks amazing and I would definitely be interested in the drawings if you don't mind sending them. Just let me know if sending you a PM is the best way to make contact.

It would be a good winter project around here to weld one up. I already work with a couple laser cutting shops so I'm sure I can have all the parts cut reasonably.

It is not paintet. Its been seasoned in oil for protection. The steel is Cor-ten steel and it is not stainless. Stainless 8mm steel would have cost a fortune

More pictures. Will try to do a better job on the next time I season it :)

That's quality work, love the laser cut parts and the thought that's gone in to the design, the flame detail on the handle mounts is very cool. Top notch Nysta.
