So here's some pics of our cook on the 4th. Came out great. Had to grab some meat for my Christmas tamales before it got scarffed. We did some burgers while the pit was burning in, and there was two more pans of pure meat not in the pic. nothing was wasted except for bones, head, and some skin.

Very nice, like the fire pit and the pig looks awesome.
 
I have never done a whole pig. Ive done a whole pigs weight worth of butts at once but never a whole pig. I have been to a bunch of pig roasts but for some reason they never smoke them, just cook them on a pit of coals.
 
Nice work... Where did you get your pig if you don't mind sharing.
 
Looks delicious! 40-50lb pigs are mighty fine eatin'.
 
Nice cook. I love the fact that you incorporated a cinder block pit into your landscape. Very cool.
