Been a while since i posted anything so here is what is cookin tomorrow...
i decided to fire up the big pig pit (sorry no whole hog)

cooking 1 17lb fresh pork ham
2 boston butts
3 chickens
1 turkey

gonna have my son and nephew (7) helping me pictures to follow
 
One pork butt and a ring of polish sausage. Just finished rubbing down the butt.
 
One Butt for my Mom, One Chicken for my Uncle, and One Chicken for my sister, The rest is for me. When you see pictures of the cooker, you will see why I didn't want to waste the cooking space. It has a 4' x 8' cooking surface.

Here are the times for the cook

Everything went on at 10:30 am,

The three chickens (whole) came off at the 4 hour mark
The Turkey came off at 6 hours
The two Boston Butts came off at 8 hours (Pulled)
And the 17lb Ham came off after 11 hours (Pulled)

Everything tasted great and everyone was pleased with their birds.

Will definitely be doing this again,.... i have visions of the pit full of ribs! Just don't tell the wife!
 
Covered it Goin Que Que....what you can see from the New Years Picture is me sauceing the whole pig. We use a vinegar based sauce for our pulled pork.
