I got these at the Oklahoma Eggfest. The Firewire Skewers are like a cable with a loop on one side and the pointed probe type end on the other. They are as flexible as you want and worked perfect on the mini green egg. This was my first time I got to use them.

How did you flip and or rotate?

I used some tongs and flipped them that way. you could maybe put the loop through and kind seal it off with a piece of food on the other side. That probe thing holds them on pretty well.

how did you like them? we got some in the swag bag at the Troy Pig Out, I haven't had a chance to use them yet.....

They hold a lot of food. I liked that. When I took the food off nothing stuck to the wire. The flexibility was great for my mini egg. Not enough room for a regular kabob. Turning was a little hard on a small surface but on a bigger grid it should be just fine.
