Quick Dallas Trip. Arrived Metroplex 3:30pm Friday—therefore no supper. Ice water only. Saturday was early breakfast burritos at Heim BBQ. One bacon “burnt end” and one brisket. Five hours at Dallas zoo then Lunch at KRIO was Crayfishes in a Garlic Spicy Savory Sweet sauce, grilled oysters, fried shrimp, fried okra, stir fried rice. two Shiner tap. Dessert was Emporium Pies. Bourbon Pecan, French Silk, Key Lime. And a tart Red Velvet. All meals were eaten family style-split and mixed. Ended the day opening a bottle of Weller Single Barrel. Two fingers, half a small ic and a Guinness Stout. Home at 3:30pm Sunday.
