My wife saw that we had a couple of chickens in the fridge outside this morning and asked if I could have them ready by lunch. Cleaned and dried them off, filled em with some herbs and onions, and rubbed em down with herb butter. On to the Weber for 90 minutes at 355'ish. Simple but really good. Had a couple of sweet potatoes as well, so why not.

Cheers,

Looks great. How long did that take? About an hour?

I let them go for about 90 minutes, though the sweet potatoes only needed an hour . They turned out good and juicy, and I took the carcasses and some veggies and made some stock while I had the coals going. I got about 2 gallons out of it.
