Cold smoking with oak for just over an hour a couple of chuck eye steaks seasoned with Tatonka Dust.

Searing the oak smoked steaks on GrillGrates and having a cold one!

Served with brussels sprouts and Ciabatta rolls with cheese which were also prepared on the grill.

Medium rare and so good!

With that first shot I wasn't sure where this was going but man the final product looks great.

My wife and love the additional flavor cold smoking gives a steak and have been making them this way about 3 years at least now. Smoking a steak while cooking it doesn't allow much time for smoke, using this method adds additional smoke time.
