I'm looking for suggestions on good thermometers for my cooker. I'm looking to install a couple at grate level and don't know which route to go currently. Thanks.

I recently bought a River Country for about $17 and put it on my UDS. So far it seems to be accurate. It's adjustable and easy to read.

Cool!

I have Tel-Tru's on my Eggs, and a Spicewine on my Bandera.

They are a little more expensive but I think well worth the money.

FYI: They will make custom stem lengths if you ever need something other than the standard. I have 6" probes on my pit thermometers.

I check the calibration on my thermometers often using the boiling water technique. The Tel-tru's are always spot on. You get what you pay for.
