ahhhh, bet you thought i was gonna have pics and info on how to do it.
No such luck my friends.
I'm actually asking.
Thankgiving is around the bend and believe it or not i've never smoked a turkey.

tips, tricks, brines, injections.... all info welcome. I wanna make sure my father in law knows he's eating some damn fine bird made by the guy who sleeps with his daughter. :lol:

I never actually cook our thanksgiving bird and its a shame, but I do cook lots of turkeys. Whether you are smoking or roasting I alway brine it. I like to incoporate ingredents to go with the rest of the meal. Thing like cloves and oranges go good with the bird. A basic brine with flavors like those added make a good turkey. I llok to see what recipes I have but usually I make it up as I go. Try take out the back and flattening it. http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21345
