Introducing The Most Affordable Gravity Fed Insulated Cabinet Smoker on the Market

Nice. Hopefully an Academy has one in stock next time I’m down to visit my sister next. Just wish Nebraska would get an Academy already.

Thanks for all the info Smitty. That is a sweet looking cooker at that price range.

I think Bubba Sparks would be a hell of a name for that smoker

Alejandro replied via Email about weight - he said he had his guys in warehouse weigh One - 346 lbs..........

T&K have inner frame? Old Country doesn't have an inner frame just some plate bracing.........What gauge is T&K inner panels.? Some brands are 1/8' or 11 or 10 guage inner with lighter skins. Old Country is 14 guage inner and outer with 3/16" lower half chute/burn box.........

And you still don’t lock down your smokers? Tsk tsk.
Right? I have cameras, locked gate, locked garage and truck parked too close to the gate to get the shirley out. SMITTY IS CRAZY!!!
I'm gonna sleep in the garage tonight. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Guess I Better Camouflage them..........

Lock them up- why?

Stealing from Smitty would be like stealing from Chuck Norris.

Also be curious to see how long the 1/4” plate “firebox” last. Everything I have ever read people say it needs to be 1/2” minimum.

1/4" crs plate should handle any heat a gravity feed can put out. !/4" plate works for 80% of offset smokers where there is actual fire. Burning hotter than any coals/wood chunks.
Sure heavier gauge should make any firebox last longer. But how much longer? Is it really required. Purchaser to make that decision.
There is a giant price gap to get a prettier paint job and thicker firebox.
If it only lasted 10 yrs. I'm guessing if taken care of. You would get more than 10 yrs.
By then, you might want to go another route/type cooker anyways. Saving money

Alejandro corrected/updated me on Chute, Firebox (bottom section of chute) and Ash Box/Air box

From email :

Regarding the firebox:
The charcoal chute is made of 14 ga.
The combustion chamber is 1/4"
The air intake chamber is 1/8"
