Hey got a question for you hanging fanatics. I'm on my cooker rotation so the jimmy get's the next cook and i'm gonna do some corn on the cob and i'm gonna use the hanging grill grate hybrid set up.

I'm thinking about doing some pork shoulder csr's, now i can do them on the grate which will work just fine but I could also hang them for ****s and giggles...won't matter on quality one way or the other but I'm wondering if it would hold ok on a hook.

Suppose it would be ok but anyone hang any shoulder csr's??

I appreciated her. It was a grill/smoker detail day.:-D

It's a capable SOB

All right fellas,

Since this is the appreciation thread here is what I've done on my PBC and honestly it has never once let me down on whatever I've thrown at it.

Starting from the usual and followed by the not so usual.

Pretty sure I'm leaving a lot of other stuff I did and frankly I got tired of posting pics!! LOL

Great cooks ssv...impressive variety. Doing pork csr s tonight...they seem like they'll hang good. Ever did those?

I really wanna do them on the spinner but i'm on a rotation so they're jimmy bound.

Ssv3: amazing looking food and fantastic variety. I feel unworthy. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Bob,

This is about a year and half span of cooks. I actually was eyeing the PBC but since I had so many other cookers I put it off until I found one on CL brand new in an unopened box for $175 from a guy that felt intimidated to use it.

Rest is history. Absolutely my most used cooker. Love it so much I bought the new one couple months ago after a friend of mine gave me a Don Julio 1948 for the v1 PBC. I have at least 5 of my friends that went home after hanging out at my place and pulled the trigger also. I'm hearing friends of friends are also buying them LOL. Not even mentioning co-workers.

I absolutely can't be without one. So much so that I'm going out of state to visit my uncle and taking it with me. Can't have inferior bbq or anything off a gasser. :loco:

Thanks man!

I haven't done csr's but they'll definitely do very good hanging. I'd do em on the Jimmy. Post it up.

Brother those cooks you posted above are incredible. Way to showcase the PBC. Absolutely a great job. Those fish really got my attention. Awesome man.

Nice trade. And keep spreading the barrel cooking gospel,

Thanks brother!

I love whole fish cooked in the PBC. As delicate as fish are no messing around with trying to flip them and such but just an even cooking going on. They come out tasty and pretty too. Just hook 'em and cook 'em.

Stupendous looking cooks. Those fish were so fresh they looked like they were still expecting to get out alive.

I have got to give that "hook'em and cook'em" a try. Thanks for sharing those cooks. They were truly incredible.
