I did mine following
Raichlen's recipe. It didn't involve an overnight marinade but came out good enough that I did the same thing the next time I wanted to roast a leg of lamb. More details on my on this at

In the past I've also done them marinating overnight with Italian dressing to which I added Rosemary and garlic.
