Looking at buying this type of meat thermometer probe and was wondering if anyone had any experience? Also, what advice would you give on purchasing probes?

If I was going to buy anything temperature related, it'd be from ThermoWorks or Fireboard.
I did have a ThermoPro TP17. I used it twice and accidentally left it outside all day in direct sunlight. I turned it on and the digital display was fried. I didn't have it long enough to form a solid opinion but it's a very attractive thermometer and seemed to work well albeit for a short time. I still have a 5yr old TP16 single prob that works great.
