I agree on the drums and welding. I used self tapping screws in some areas in place of welds. Using another drum cut out as a charcoal liner helps them last a bit more. I bet those Cheney grills are made so that you could possible drop in a drum bottom if it needed replacement. The angle iron and framework they use is way more life lasting than the drums ever will be. Hope something affordable turns up for,you guys.
