With Christmas and New Years approaching, I thought it would be great to have a Throwdown category that captures the spirit of the holidays. "Holiday Sweets and Treats" will showcase festive desserts and snacks for Santa and the whole family!

Thanks for all you guys do for the forum!

I'm making my Salted Caramels today, but since they're strictly an indoors cook I don't think they'll qualify for this throwdown. It's far too difficult to control candy temps on the grill. I may post pics just for the heck of it. Making candy is time consuming but so worth the effort.

Did a Texas Trash Pie for a family gathering. It's an "everything but the kitchen sink" kind of concoction using chocolate chips, caramel chips, pecans, coconut, pretzels and Graham crackers.

My cook thread is here: https://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=307375

Please use this picture for my entry.
