Green Turkey & Green Baked Beans
While I'm indifferent about St. Patricks day our friends always have a yearly get together which is fun to see friends. Last year I made a corned pork butt with a few "green" sauces.
This year I saw a few turkeys in my freezer and thought "hey that light color meat should take good to green color!" :clap2::clap2:. So I made some injection with chicken base and some seasoning and then just added a bunch of food coloring :becky: I was just going to do one turkey but figured why not do both. https://i.imgur.com/KYCedR0l.jpg Here's the injection https://i.imgur.com/lcr0xzUl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/blopvEPl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/OYNpIqhl.jpg Also got some light color beans to make baked beans and will drop in food coloring to this as well to see what happens https://i.imgur.com/UsG6fHBl.jpg I might inject the turkeys tonight to cook tomorrow or just do it in the morning. We shall see how it all turns out  |

Hmmmmm, great effort. Hope you can eat it up that day. I'd definitely give it a try but not sure about leftover green turkey.

Cooking in pans to steam a little. Since I'm pulling the meat I don't care about the skinhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a31793bb6c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...dc9b495e80.jpg
