Nephews 2nd Backyard Comp in FL 2020 Edition

Well here we go for round 2 of my nephews backyard "competition career" :clap2::mrgreen:. So stick around for "things" that will "occur".

Here is last year's shenanigans

Family trip been planned for a while now. So it's a combo of visiting fam and letting the twins get another round under their belt of me "teaching" them how to give it the old college try :becky:. Last year this time they were 13 so now that makes them...........more than that.........
(I've known them since they were 6)

Plans are relatively the same for them.....
-Make them do random things that aren't necessary
-Get me beers
-Get more beers
-Entertain my children
-Probably cook some bbq
-Things that involve the pink bouncy unicorn

They'll have their WSM and just to change it up I'm bringing my Pitboss tailgater and whiskey still. No idea what will be cooked on what, but might just let them figure it the hell out as they know the drill :thumb:.

Getting loaded up today and we'll leave super early morning time.

Meats......all took out of my freezer other than the brisket
-Prime Costco brisket (bought about 3 weeks ago and been sitting in fridge)
-Kroger butts
-Kroger Perdue legs
-Ribs from RD (one pack is IBP and one pack is prairie fresh)

Still need to get some Steele Reserve, but this crap will do for now. At least a have a few Claws in there :clap2:

Ho hum. Been there done that.

You’ll need to really stretch to impress us now Jason.

Sounds like fun to me! :whoo:

Looks like you are dangerously low on beers for that being 2 of the top 3 tasks. I'd hate for you to run dry!

This is awesome. Looked at the pics from last year and it is really cool to see them at this age with such an interest. Looking forward to following this!

How about this.....I'll be wearing this shirt and our spot is located 1 block from the police station. Not sure about my pants situation yet.

I see no Four Loko in that teeny tiny fridge, if you want to call it that.

Those white flaws will give you a serious headache and hangover after 15 or 26 of them. I lost count.

Good luck!

Good luck to 2 Gucci Que. Good on you, Jason, for supporting them (or as some of us would say, dooming them) in this great hobby we enjoy.

Oh those 8%rs will get things moving.

Jason, I look forward to following along the adventure.
Teaching those boys to Que in competition can lead them a long way. Yes there will always be those situations that will need the "mature" guidance; but as for me, I think this is great!
Good luck, I think they may surprise you.
