Meat Loafs in the Snow
I love smoking in snowy weather, especially since my Q Shack is covered. :-D
Two meat loafs with everything but the kitchen sink in them: Bread Crumbs Egg Parmesan cheese Fresh basil Fresh oregano Fresh parsley Sauteed onions and garlic Celery Tomato paste A light dusting of Myron's Hickory Rub and a little dab of hickory salt on the top. On the Assassin at 250 with some pecan chunks for smoke. Probably about 2 more hours of cooking. I'm looking forward to tonight's dinner. :-D https://i.imgur.com/bAfadg3h.jpg |

That looks and sounds delicious, John!
I can't remember the last time I've smoked a meatloaf... it's long overdue. Thanks for the inspiration! |
Thanks, Jeanie. It will be coming off the smoker soon.
Snowy time comfort food. :-D |
I'm waiting! The Red Lobster biscuits look killer.

Intrigued by the Wire Baskets, they dont stick?
I love meatloaf |
Titch, they do stick and are a pain to clean, but they let the smoke surround the meat.
The loafs are off the smoke to rest for a bit. Sliced shots coming soon. :-D https://i.imgur.com/lsGegEDh.jpg |
