Kingsford charcoal and lump charcoal mixture

Does anybody use a mixture of Kingsford charcoal and lump charcoal? For my next cook I was thinking for trying both at the same time.

An unequivocal no.

No. Briquettes typically are used for long even burning time and lump is used for hotter & shorter burn time. If that's all you have is a small amount of both then go for it.
